Silbury Hill  . Massive mound was constructed around  2350 bc  . Builders sculpted the hill using picks made from deer antler .Would have loved to walked to the 40 metres from bottom to top . Sign said nay ! Silbury Hill  the largest prehistoric man made  mound in  Europe .

MAEN LLIA

Massive standing stone  , 12 feet high , 9 feet wide  set on moorland at the top of the Llia Valley adjacent to Sarn Helen  , Brecon National Park  ( SN824192) . 

Stone is about 5,000 years old , 

Ewenny Priory

Large Norman church four miles from Ogmore on Sea . Built 1126 on the site of an early Christian church  by 1141 it was a Benedictine Priory . The Church , defensive wall and towers show little sign of decay .  .

Hiked up to the top of Graig Fawr . The stunning  landscape is the result of glacial activity during the last ice age, 20,000 years ago..
