Moutain bike to the top of the Bwlch then along the top . Then on- to the forestry road which goes through ,Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm . Turned out to be pretty exciting ride .Overhead i spot a Sparrowhawk wings fluttering almost motionless over a clearing . Further on a bushy tailed fox crosses the road a few metres from me , lucky me . Approaching the cairn I can't see much from the road . I walk up small avenue of trees turning right to see a fenced off area where the cairn is . There isn't much to see . What remains of Carn - y - Wiwer is a few stones the rest is long gone or is hidden beneath thick undergrowth .
